The cock
The cock
By: Tao Kim-Hai
This is a realistic story because the mother of the main character believes in superstitions and its so much implemented to their country Vietnam, it is entitled the cock because the cock is the reason why the young woman have a story to share with..
And another thing it is called realistic because it is truly happened that a classy woman can't marry a poor man because the parents is againts to it. This a good story because it tells how their love is hopeless and unbrigeable but because of the cock their unmeasurable love became possible.
" The lesson of the story is that, If there's a storm came into your life dont lose hope because just like what once song said there's a rainbow always after the rain. "

Homecoming

The story is somewhat realistic because there's a thing happened that there is someone who doesn't want there culture and if he can just get rid of it he will never going back to it. And to this story the main character doesnt want to went back to the culture he used to do... This kind of events happened if you're truly disagree to your culture and find something much better to practiced. But no matter what, you should know where you first started to live your life and you must be thankful for it and always take a look back.
" The lesson of the story is unlucky past might be a way for you to have a better future. So, you must be grateful and do not attempt to forget where you came from and what kind of culture you used to do, because it is a piece of you that will complete your personality "
The Mole
The Mole
By: Kawabata Yasunari
The story of “The Mole” for me it is quiet unbelievable because there is a girl named sayoko who have a mole on the upper right side of her back, and her husband left her because of that for them rubbing mole is such a bad habit. Everytime sayoko rub her mole she felt pleasure until it grow and became larger, her house responsibility as well as her duty as a wife to her husband been unsustainable. This story is a letter of Sayoko to her husband on how she love him so much.
" The lesson of the story is, remain standing no matter what strugle in your life it is just a results of your wrong doing. So, you must face it at the same time overcomed it to enlighten your life once again. "
Oh.. Oh.. Oh
OH... OH... OH...
By: Idrus
This story is from Indonesia written by Idrus. Its all about the people who have power dominated the one who's in a lower class. During they are in the train, you will notice the train system in which there are unequality for those who can pay more and pay less , maybe the author wrote this one because he experienced it or he witness an event like this. Another central topic of the story is corruption and you will see it when the policeman get the rice of poor woman without any permission and as an unequal society the woman did'nt have a chance to return her rice because she dont have power to do so, she does nothing but to cry and cry...
" The lesson of the story is, sometimes there are people who have a mind corrupting by power or money they've been dominating the weak and getting everything from it without pity..
We should not do it, instead, we must kill this habit and treat each other equally. Wealthy or not we should respect one another.
Mahamaya
Mahamaya
By: Rabindranath Tagore
The story is all about the tradition and culture of india where there is a cremated scene. An old brahmin and his suttee (mahamaya) will be burned with him, while this is happening there is a heavy rain came and the fire went gone. Mahamaya been safe and as a promise to Rajib (her suitor) she went back to him, but in one condition.. Do not remove the veil that she's wearing. Rajib without a doubt agreed to it. But there was a tempting night came Rajib broke his promise to the lady he came near the sleeping mahamaya and removed her veil, Rajib was shocked because half face of Mahamaya was burned. Mahamaya then open her eyes and saw Rajib beside her.. Without hesitation mahamaya run away from the man and even a sorry of rajib doesn't help to make mahamaya stay.
